Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Advanced Practice Providers. The position is located in Galveston, TX. The Director will oversee the operations and clinical practice standards of advanced practice providers. Responsibilities include managing staff performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, developing policies and procedures, and liaising with various departments to foster integrated patient care. The role will also involve strategic planning and participation in business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Leadership and Management skills, including staff supervision and performance management
- Clinical Expertise in advanced practice provider roles and healthcare delivery
- Regulatory Compliance knowledge and the ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Strategic Planning and Business Development skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and healthcare professionals
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Experience in an academic health center or hospital system is a plus
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure
