CUSTODIAL AIDE POSITION SUMMARY :
To perform heavy and light duties in associated services in patient / resident and non-patient / resident areas such as : handling and transporting Bio-hazard Waste (blood and body fluids, pathological waste), regular trash as needed, dust mopping, wet mopping, wall washing, etc.
Primary duties will also include operating floor care equipment (stripping, waxing, carpet extraction), follow preventative floor care schedule, etc.
ENVIRONMENTAL AIDE POSITION SUMMARY :
To perform cleaning duties in patient and non-patient areas of the hospital, such as : dust mopping, wet mopping, disinfecting, high and low dusting, wall washing, glass washing, washing down furniture, etc.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in commercial cleaning preferred.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent required
