Job Description
The Pharmacists of UVMMC Specialty Pharmacy serve outpatient medication needs by compounding and dispensing medication according to prescription orders, screening for and addressing medication related problems and counseling patients and health care professionals on the proper use of medication. Pharmacists must exhibit exceptional attention to detail, as you will oversee the dispensing, packing and shipping of high-value, specialized medications. Pharmacists must maintain good business practices to ensure success of company within the mission of UVMMC.
Education
Pharmacy Degree from ACPE accredited college of pharmacy (five-year B.S. or Pharm. D.),
Certifications: Licensed and registered to practice pharmacy in Vermont.
Experience
One year minimum retail pharmacy within past 5 years, one year minimum experience in a health system pharmacy. Equivalent alternate pharmacy experience is acceptable.
