This position contributes to the success of the urban Farmhouse market & café by ensuring our Mission is always upheld. Every Café Barista provides outstanding customer service and meets all standards for speed of service, quality beverages, sandwiches, and salads. Every Café Barista is positive, people loving, enthusiastic and works to create a fun, clean environment. For 21 years and older. Flexible Part-Time and Full-Time hours available. Compensation will also include Shared Tip Pool (approximately $6-$12 per hour)!
Primary Responsibilities:
§ Warmly welcomes and connects with every customer.
§ Discovers customers needs and appropriately suggests product offerings to enhance service.
§ Offers customers demonstrations and available samples.
§ Creates opportunities for customers to interact with products.
§ Responds to customers and sincerely thanks every customer.
§ Prepares beverages, sandwiches, and salads to standard.
§ Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
§ Follows established procedures for inventory management, including record keeping, merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products.
§ Complete assigned cleaning tasks in accordance with established cleaning standards.
§ Performs special projects to assist in store operations.
§ Follows cash handling procedures and POS policies.
§ Follows all Farmhouse policies and procedures.
§ Will be responsible for initiating learning and executing all Farmhouse policies and procedures according to established standards for each position.
§ Contributes toward profitability by seeking opportunities to increase sales, manage inventory and cost of goods control and labor costs.
§ Is always professional and communicates effectively with team members and customers.
§ Provides absolute unflagging attention to customer service and satisfaction, including speed of service, handling complaints and speedy response to requests.

Education:
§ High School Diploma or GED.
Physical Requirements:
§ Ability to perform the following tasks at various times up to 90% of time: Bending and twisting, carrying, climbing, computer usage including equipment necessary for product preparation, POS and other special equipment, crawling, handling, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, and stooping.
