Phlebotomy Apprenticeship Program - PAID Training and GUARANTEED Job!
We are now accepting applications! No experience is required for this paid training program, all you need is a High School diploma or GED. Selected applicants will be immediately employed and participate in our 5-week training program. There are up to ten (10) full-time positions being offered this session.

Program features:
- Five (5) weeks of intense coursework and hands-on instruction in a classroom environment
- Attendance requirements of Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm in-person
- 24/7 support from program instructors and mentors
- Comprehensive benefits package
- Competitive Starting wages per hour (plus shift differential where applicable)
- $2,000 sign on bonus. External candidates are eligible for a one-time sign on bonus paid over 3 installments. Amounts reflect gross pay, prior to applicable tax withholdings and deductions require by law. Current University of Vermont Health Network employees are excluded and additional terms and conditions apply.
There are no direct costs associated with The UVM Medical Center Phlebotomy Apprenticeship Program. The program is supported by the Institute for American Apprenticeships (IAA), The UVM Medical Center and the Vermont Department of Labor. Selected students will be provided with textbooks, receive mentoring from program staff, and prepared to take the Phlebotomy Certification Exam which is covered by the program...all while being paid!
Each graduate will receive a certificate of completion from The UVM Medical Center and IAA.
