What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager position at The Vault?
Hi Neighbor Group (The Vault Steakhouse, The Vault Garden, Trestle, The Madrigal, Mama Oakland) is looking for hard working professionals who are team oriented, have a passion for hospitality and want to grow their career. We are currently hiring GENERAL MANAGER at our Financial District Restaurants, The Vault Garden and the Vault Steakhouse, which operate as one entity.
Responsibilities include:
* overseeing and directing the daily restaurant operations and guest relations
* staffing (including but not limited to hiring, scheduling, training, terminating, staff education)
* developing and maintaining policies and standards
* ordering and inventory management
* being an advocate and leader of hospitality
* harmonizing the team around Hi Neighbor's mission and values
* providing a highly efficient and effective service
Management roles are full time positions requiring 50 hours a week. Be able to lift a keg, tray of food and walk up and down two flights of stairs frequently through out the day.nnManagement and Customer Service experience is required and MUST have vaccination and booster!
