The Village at Gleannloch Farms is recruiting for a hospitality focused Certified Medication Aide to join our team!
Full Time: Monday-Friday (2pm - 10pm)
Salary: Starting at $17.00/hour
YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL…
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
- Give treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed.
- Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
- Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
- Answer signal lights promptly.
- Change bed linens, make beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly
- Works as a member of the team.
- Gets along well with co-workers.
- Accepts change in a positive manner.
WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU…
- Successful completion from a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. Registration with State CMA registry required.
- Successful completion of State approved Medicine Aide Course.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

- Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
