About the Role
The Dementia Care Specialist will be responsible for providing direct care and support to residents with dementia, as well as collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to residents with dementia, including assistance with daily living tasks and activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents and their families, ensuring excellent customer service and support.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in dementia care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; LPN license preferred.
- At least one year of experience in dementia care, preferably in a long-term care setting.

- Strong knowledge of dementia care principles and practices, with ability to provide direct care and support to residents.
