Job Summary:
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will help ensure every patient has a smooth, positive experience. You’ll manage scheduling, assist patients, and provide administrative support. Ideal candidates are organized, friendly, and enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a professional, friendly manner
- Schedule, confirm, and update appointments
- Answer phone calls and emails efficiently
- Verify insurance and assist with forms
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Coordinate referrals and follow-ups
- Support patient flow and assist the clinical team
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience in healthcare, vision, dental, or customer service preferred
- Comfortable using scheduling or CRM software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask
- Reliable, professional, and punctual

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Saturday (8 a.m. - 1 p.m.) are required for all staff
- Closed on major holidays
Experience:
- Customer service: 2 year (Preferred)
- Optical/ Ophthalmology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage patient scheduling and appointments efficiently, utilizing medical office experience.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care and treatment options, including ophthalmology services.
- Utilize medical terminology to assist in the documentation and coordination of patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient needs and enhance overall service delivery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and handle administrative tasks in a timely manner.
