What are the responsibilities and job description for the Polisher position at The Vollrath Company LLC?
We are seeking experienced metal polishers for open 2nd Shift positions in our Fabrication Division. We have hand polisher positions as well as machine polish positions available. These individuals will perform a wide variety of polishing activities to stainless steel products
Responsibilities
Perform general manufacturing processes which may include the following:
- From performing simple deburring operations to applying scotch-brite, greaseless, stroke-polish, high-buff finishes to stainless steel products.
- Operations are performed using belt machines, polishing lathes, as well as hand tools.
- Operators will change polishing media and fixtures as required.
- Assist with any special projects assigned by supervisor.
- Willingness to assist and train others when necessary.
- General cleaning and housekeeping.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required.
- 3 years of manufacturing experience required, 5 years experience preferred.

Compensation
- Starting at $24.77 per hour plus $.35 for 2nd Shift.
