Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their experience
- Operate POS system accurately for order processing and payments
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Assist with food preparation, food safety, and sanitation standards to ensure quality and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales and maximize revenue opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the front-of-house area, including bussing tables and food service stations
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations and safety standards
- Support kitchen staff by coordinating food orders and ensuring timely service during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks
- Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is a plus but not required
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
