The Active Life Coordinator carries out community engagement programming in the areas of wellbeing to enhance the residents' experience and functional abilities. Community engagement is created by understanding whole person health and identifying resident needs in areas of mind, body, and spirit and by conducting purposeful programming for individuals and groups around this model.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-3 years' experience working with seniors required- Experience in integrative therapies preferred
- Practices a holistic approach to helping seniors THRIVE in The Waters environment
- Provides strong customer service orientation
- Bachelor's degree in exercise science, recreational therapy, kinesiology, education, psychology, social work, or related areas preferred
- The ability to work irregular hours/schedule that is dependent on the needs of the residents and community as appropriate
