The HR Coordinator – Global Development and International (GD&I) is responsible for administering the Wendy’s HR processes and administrative duties. This role will provide day-to-day support related to hiring, transferring, promoting, LOA administration and terminating; answering internal and external inquiries. This role will need to provide superior customer service through effective communication and time management skills in explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees.
Responsibilities
- New Hire Support - Prepare International new hire paperwork, by collecting candidate information to complete and send employment agreements. Ensure all required documents are collected and maintained in the employee personnel database on SharePoint. Partner with business, HR, legal on international consulting agreements. Ensure follow-up and coordination of IT equipment shipped to new hires.
- Workforce Administration – Liaison between immigration firm and employee for visa applications and renewals. Manage international employee personnel file database and visa and immigration tracking. Create and distribute employment verification letters for various purposes. (UK) answer and manage ad hoc Harri requests and questions from UK restaurants.
- Communications, Presentations, Reporting – Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations as needed. (UK) Manage Harri restaurant CommsHub. Complete and distribute periodic restaurant turnover reporting for UK restaurants.
- Compensation & Benefits Program Support – Manage UK statutory sick pay and LOA process; collect employee notes, verify leave dates are entered in Harri, follow up return to work status. (UK) Send pay change letters & notifications and ensure proper record-keeping in UK HR system. Create SBS salary adjustment documentation.
- Compliance – Pull documentation for various internal & external audits across the international business in all regions. (UK) designated notetaker for UK employee disciplinary & grievance meetings.
- Other Program Administration/Employee Experience Administration – Liaison between comp and employee for international relocations. Partner with HRS on service anniversary process for international employees. Updates to UK Orientation deck; order & ship new hire swag, coordinate logistics for in-restaurant recognition initiatives.

USD $23.00/Hr.
Maximum Wage
USD $38.00/Hr.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in administrative support role is required.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Professional Suite, including Outlook.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction by understanding priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communications skills.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position.* The target annual bonus for this role is 7.5% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance. Director and above roles are also eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive award program.
