The Whitestone Group Inc. is an industry leading security company providing services to the U.S. Government with an international presence. The company is currently seeking to hire candidates for a federal contract in Montrose.

Duties include controlling vehicle entry onto the site by examining picture identification and vehicle parking permits. Ensuring only those with legitimate and valid ID enter the site. Vehicle Inspectors will inspect vehicles entering the site for contraband. Screen personnel prior to site entry using X-ray and metal detecting equipment, issue appropriate visitors credentials based on category. Make patrols of the site ensuring that all exterior doors are closed and secure, inspect for smoke or fire, walk the property looking for signs of illegal entry and suspicious items, assist with medical emergencies, provide required breaks for other Security Officers and perform other duties as directed.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Military, corrections, law enforcement or security experience desirable.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- US citizen
- Able to pass a physical exam/drug screen and a federal background investigation.
- Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc.
