Position Overview
The Quotation Specialist plays a critical role in supporting our sales team by generating accurate, timely, and competitive quotations. This position requires deep attention to detail, a strong grasp of technical product information, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. You will be the bridge between customer needs and project execution, ensuring every quote reflects both precision and value.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full quote lifecycle from initial request to final proposal

• Interpret drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate quotations

• Maintain up-to-date project data in systems such as OASIS and SAP

• Communicate clearly and regularly with customers regarding project quotes and updates

• Collaborate with internal departments and manufacturer partners to ensure accurate pricing and product offerings

• Stay current on manufacturer pricing, options, and competitive product information

• Identify opportunities to improve margins and increase profitability on all quotes

• Consistently contribute to process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency

• Support ad hoc tasks and special projects as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous lighting quotation experience is highly preferred

• Experience with OASIS software is required

• Strong technical reading skills (blueprints, construction drawings, specs)

• Excellent communication, math, and organizational abilities

• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects with a high degree of accuracy

• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); SAP experience is a plus

Education and Experience

• Associate Degree in a related field preferred

• Prior experience with CRM/order processing systems such as OASIS required

• SAP experience is an advantage

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of computer-based work

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds

• Ability to move throughout various departments as needed

Compensation & Benefits
The starting salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $55,000 annually, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
