The Winfield at Richmond Heights is a Senior Living community located in Richmond Heights that provides Independent and Assisted Living Services. Our Community provides a warm and respectful atmosphere for all our residents and staff.

The Winfield at Richmond Heights is currently searching for a Full-Time Housekeeper for an immediate hire.

The Main Function of the Housekeeper position is to clean and service resident apartments, office and common areas of the facility to meet public &c facility standards.

The Duties & Responsibilities of the Housekeeper position include but are not limited to:

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing in both resident apartments and common areas
• Spot clean carpets and vinyl flooring
• Deep clean and prepare resident apartments for new residents
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Check stocking levels of all supplies and inform supervisor of supplies needed
• Create maintenance work orders and report any problems to supervisor that require special attention such as repair, resident non-compliance, unsafe situations
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
• Participate in safety committee, in-service training and emergency drills
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must present the highest standards of customer service to all residents, family members, co-workers and visitors
• Must be customer-oriented & have friendly, outgoing personality and a sincere desire to serve the aged
• Must be able to deal with residents under all conditions
• Must have good time management skills and be able to prioritize
• Must have critical thinking ability & be able to determine solutions to issues as they arise
• Must be adaptable to change
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass physical and have clean background check
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays on an as-needed basis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
