NURSERY YARD CREW MEMBER
Description
The Yard Crew Member will assist the Yard Manager in the day to day functions of maintaining our 16 acre property along with our main building.
Job Responsibilities:
- Unload and organize plant deliveries throughout Garden Center
- Properly maintain and water plants
- Loading bulk orders of topsoil, mulch and stone for walk-in guests
- Helping guests load their vehicles with topsoil and mulch
- Basic ground maintenance; weed whacking, organizing plant material, basic irrigation repair, etc.
- If needed, assisting delivery driver for tree and shrub deliveries.
More about the job:
- Knowledge of trees and shrubs, perennials and annuals is a plus but not required.
- General knowledge of operating and maintaining small equipment.
- Availability on weekends.
- Full Time, seasonal positions available
