The General Manager is responsible for crafting the overall direction of the facility and general wellness program, and providing strong leadership geared towards hospitality, top- level Fitness Wellness services, and staff development. This high-visibility leadership position requires the capacity to create a culture that engages residents and facilitates staff accountability for all aspects of performance and service, ensuring an extraordinary experience for each resident.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the highest level of staff accountability
- Facility staffing schedules
- Staff education
- Resident relations; daily resident engagement
- Resident inquiries, feedback, suggestions and the coordination of resolutions to any issues involving the amenities
- Liaison with the resident manager and building management company
- Manage annual operational budget
- Attendance at building and board meetings
- Facility supply inventory and purchase
- Provide daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports to TWF corporate as needed
- Vendor liaison
- Payroll management
- Staff hiring and terminations
- Over-see all fitness and amenity center operations
- Maintenance of the pool, sauna, steam rooms, and whirlpool where applicable
Requirements:
- Four-year college degree
- Management experience in fitness, hospitality, or wellness
- Experience with staff development
- Outgoing and self-directed
- Passionate about fitness, wellness, and living a healthy lifestyle
