CDL Driver

Must have 3 years of CDL Experience.

Must be able to pass background and physical.

Clean MVR

Monday - Friday

Pay - 65 cents a mile long haul

$55 per diem when on the road.

When driving local - 15 hr.  

Uniforms and cell phone provided.

CDL Truck Driver Responsibilities:

• Drive long  and short haul distances to deliver goods to customers.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Record cargo deliveries.
• Refuel and clean vehicle.
• Report road incidents to the plant manager
• Follow traffic laws.
• Inspect trucks and record issues.
• Follow accident procedures.
• Keep an activity log and log hours.
• Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
• Work with supervisor to keep maintenance up to date
• Plan routes using GPS system.
• Get goods to the client on time.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers.
• Keep commercial driver license up to date.
• Must provide back haul information for each load.
• Check in with  supervisor on a daily basis.

Truck Driver Requirements:

• CDL or commercial driver license.
• Current TWIC card.
• Must pass drug and alcohol test.
• Must have clean driving record.
• Must provide current MVR.
• Must provide a medical certificate.
• High school diploma.

• Three  years of experience working as a CDL driver with no legal or safety incidents on record
• Will work in warehouse when there is no loads to drive or other duties at plant.
• Overtime, weekend, night work may be required,

Preferred:

• Completion of professional truck driving educational program
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Enthusiasm for our products and desire to deliver them safely and on time

Work Environment:

• Standing or driving for long periods of time.

Job responsibilities can require working variable hours and some weekends

• Potential of being gone all week running loads and picking up backhauls
• Ability to perform in a fast paced operation that can run 24/7.
• May be required to work in other departments.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
