What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance position at The X Company?
The primary purpose of this position is to positively represent X Denver Club and have pride of the workplace by maintaining a clean premises. Accountability for providing a clean and well kept environment both for our guests and our staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Vacuum carpet/rugs
- Sweep and mop floors
- Clean bathrooms - toilets, sinks, walls, floors
- Dust and wipe down all surfaces
- Wipe down all table tops and bases
- Wipe down all chairs and bases
- Wipe down all bar stools and bases
- Scrub walls in all common areas
- Clean shower floor drains
- Wipe down shower tile walls
- Wash windows inside and out
- Hose off pool deck
- Sweep and pick up debris throughout the spaces
- Keep all bathroom, locker room, gym and space products stocked at all times
- Alert management if we are running low on any supplies
- May help buss tables
- May help dishwashing
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Knowledge/Skills:
- Safety in using cleaning solutions
- Knowledgeable of proper sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Skill in time management and organization with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and execute job tasks in a timely manner
- Knowledgeable to know when to change solutions, mop heads, towels to clean efficiently
- Knowledge in safety to put out Caution Signs when creating wet floor areas
- Physical strength to be able to move chairs and tables and booths to clean around them
- Physical strength and knowledge on cleaning windows
- Ability to be safe when on ladders to clean high areas
- Knowledge in knowing how to clean out vacuums and get repaired when needed
- Knowledge of getting the job done in the time allotted with the time schedules
- Comply with all quality standards, and department rules and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Comply with all OSHA Safety rules while working on the premises
- Ability to follow specific service time and guidelines
- Must be reliable and dependable by adhering to a schedule, and being on time for scheduled shifts.
