As a Y Swim Director, you will develop, organize and implement high quality, member-focused swim programs while ensuring a safe, fun, and enjoyable swim experience for all Y members and program participants. You will be supported in your work as a part of the leading mission-driven organization for strengthening community, and the area’s largest provider of swim lessons. The Y Swim Director recruits, hires, trains, develops, schedules and directs staff and volunteers as needed to maintain daily pool operations. You’ll contribute to the Y and to the community by enhancing the well-being and safety of all.

This work is right for you if you have:
- A love of swimming and of helping youth and adults learn
- At least 1 year of lifeguard/swim instructor supervisory experience
- The ability to clearly communicate and effectively listen to children, parents/guardians, members, and other Y associates
- A willingness to obtain the YMCA Swim Instructor, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Basic First Aid certifications, paid for by the Y
