Job Description:
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week

Reports to: Director of Children’s Services
Job Description:
- This role will conduct developmental screening/assessments, provide Speech Language Pathology services, and communicate with family members
- Coach family members and caregivers on various intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement. Provide parent training and support as needed.
- Ensure that progress is properly documented, and caregivers are active participants in intervention through addressing specific goals, coaching sessions, and communication with the entire team.
- Document sessions in database system. Prepare Progress reports
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)
- Must have at least one year of experience working with children on the autism spectrum and sensory feeding a plus.
- Provide parent training and support as needed
- Communicate your results and clinical findings to the family to identify areas for improvement and to formulate treatment options.
- Knowledge of current research and best practices in speech-language pathology
- NJ State Speech-Language Pathology License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or eligible
- Speech Corrections or Speech-Language Specialist Certificate
- Evidence of continuing education is necessary to meet licensing requirements
- At least one year’s experience serving the ASD population
- In-home pediatric clinic experience and feeding experience
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to travel – services are provided in the client home
- Valid CPR License
- Valid NJ Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass background check, drug screen and all pre-employment requirements.
