Electronic Quotation Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Customer Relationship Management:
• Serve as an additional point of contact for assigned customers, delivering product quotes promptly and updating them on order status as needed.
• Cultivate and sustain enduring relationships with customer account personnel.
• Ensure timely delivery of requested products or services to customers.
• Effectively communicate customer needs and demands to internal stakeholders through various channels, including job notes, staff meetings, and emails.

Quoting and Procurement:

• Generate accurate quotes for customers in Calcuquote based on supplied documentation, considering factors such as product type and complexity.
• Quote lead times based on product type and complexity. (Turn-Key vs Consignment, Obsolete parts vs new designs)
• Enter Sales Orders into the ERP system when they are completed and note in Salesforce.
• Review/analyze documents and drawings from customers to determine required components, labor costs, and pricing

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with Sales Managers to validate the accuracy and completeness of customer-supplied documentation before production.
• Import Bill of Materials (BOMs) into the ERP system for new or redesigned products, coordinating updates with key stakeholders when necessary.

Sales Support and Metrics Tracking:

• Provide support to outside sales personnel as needed.
• Monitor and track customer sales metrics as established by management.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• IPC Knowledge is advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years in Customer Service/Sales/Purchasing field required.
• Minimum 1 year in the PCB Industry preferred.
• Proficiency in cable and wire harness assembly for PC board manufacturing preferred.
• Extended periods of desk work involving computer use
• Lifting to 15lbs may be required.
• Ability to comprehend Gerbers, Assembly Drawings and Bills of Materials required.
• Proficient in basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail in producing high quality work.
• Familiarity with computers, business ERP Systems, and Microsoft Office suite
• Understanding of electrical components or PCB assembly process
• Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills with customers and team members.
• Takes the initiative and accountability meeting work demands.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a timely manner.
• Motivated and accountable to achieve individual and departmental goals.
• Responds and adapts quickly to changing circumstances.
