Responsible for ensuring that the hospital’s linen is processed and delivered to all departments daily.
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
Other Special Training/Skills:
1. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Collects and sorts soiled linen.
- Dries, folds and stacks clean linen.
- Counts, records, delivers and cleans linens to different departments.
- Follows established policies and procedures for handling of soiled linen.
- Disposes of hazardous waste according to stringent procedures.
- Inventories linen items periodically to determine replacement needs and maintain adequate supply.
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
Other Special Training/Skills:
1. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
2. Must have a valid driver's license.
