What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compensation Analyst position at Thomas Edwards Group?

Our Wholesale / Distribution client is looking for a Compensation Analyst. The Compensation Analystdevelops, implements, and administers compensation plans to attract, retain, and engage employees. Compiles compensation and other HR data to produce actionable reports.

Responsibilities -

Oversees the organization’s Compensation function, and collaborates with HR leadership and senior leadership to align compensation programs with overall business goals.
Benchmark total compensation and provide leadership information regarding direct and indirect compensation trends that may impact recruitment and retention programs.
Participates in relevant salary studies by providing, collecting, and submitting company compensation data.

Requirements -

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Human Resources or related discipline (e.g., compensation administration, design, and strategy, or other related field); at least 3 years of Compensation; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential is preferred, but not required for this role.

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) credential is preferred, but not required for this role.

Knowledge of job analysis and job evaluation systems and processes

Knowledge of compensation administration principles and methodologies
