Thomas Eye Group Opticians are responsible for all aspects of the successful operation of the optical department. Directs, coordinates, and communicates all activities of the shop, except those directly involving professional judgment beyond licensure, including day-to-day operations, ordering lenses and frames, making professional recommendations as to appropriate patient lenses and eyewear, managing inventory, and maintaining good communication channels to aid patient and vendor relationships.

Qualifications
-Minimum 3 years in the optical field
Must be able to read a manual lensometer, and perform quality checks on eyewear. This includes neutralizing prescriptions, transposing if needed, and troubleshooting any patient issues that arise from an eyeglass order.
Optician will be responsible for end of day financial balancing, and keeping up with inventory, as well as patient orders at the lab and in the office.
Compulink software experience is a major plus.
