Job Summary:
Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level, and works closely with other department managers and supervisors in supporting HR functions of the firm.
Job Responsibilities:
- Protects the interests of both the employees and the company in accordance with policies, governmental laws, and regulations.
- Maintains scheduling and conducting job evaluations; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by meeting with and coaching managers, discipline employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors as directed by Human Resources Director.
- Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of upcoming benefit meetings.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resources federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings as needed.
- Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Maintains human resource records by keying in and uploading all new hire documentation into HR database.
- Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting new employees.
- Maintains confidentiality of all personnel issues and information.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university preferably in Human Resources preferred
- Five or more years of Human Resource or related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience with ADP or other HRIS system(s)
- Experience with Salesforce software or other CRM system
- Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
- PRH or SPHR Certification preferred
