Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Law Firm Administrative Clerk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal team and ensuring the smooth functioning of office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing attorney calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
  • Prepare and process legal documents, correspondence, and court filings.
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary.
  • Perform general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents.
  • Assist with billing and invoicing processes.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers as needed.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a law firm or legal environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per hour
