RECONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR
PRIMARY ROLE
Reconstruction Estimator with experience writing fire and water losses.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect and determine the appropriate scope of repairs.
- Responsible for scoping, estimating, and selling insurance and property restoration losses to residential and commercial properties that have been affected by fire, water, storms, wind and hail.
- Utilize Xactimate on a daily basis/Experienced with Symbility.
- Work closely with insurance companies, insurance adjusters, clients, customers, and all other parties involved in claims and establish a good rapport with all parties and determine appropriate plans to get the residence or building back to pre-loss condition.
- Documentation of claim files skills and communication with co-workers and customers
- Good customer communication, project coordination, project execution including management of in-house equipment and resources.
- Considers and understands problems and identifies appropriate solutions.
- Knowledge of Insurance Industry
- Must be able to access roofs by ladder.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Reconstruction estimating experience
- 2 years of experience as a construction estimator within the insurance restoration industry
- 2 years of experience and proficiency with Symbility and Xactimate estimates and crafting proposals.
- Have previous experience with Fire, Water, and Mold damage restoration.
- Ability to work well with others, maintain professional interaction with co-workers and vendor.
- Strong Computer Skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Must have a valid Driver’s License without any major violations in the last 5 years.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
