Summary
JOB SCOPE:
- Responsible for taking orders, receiving payments for all purchases made in restaurant and distributions of all food and beverage orders. Other duties as required.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Order Tasks
- Greet guests warmly
- Take orders, record orders on checks
- Process orders to the commis
- Preparing order for guest
- Serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages with proper technique
- Resolve customer issues quickly
- Prepare fries and milkshakes for guest orders
- Package drink and food products to deliver to guests
- Follow all health and safety standards
- Unload and stock inventory items appropriately
- Ensure food safety standards and proper personal hygiene are maintained
- Adhere to all Thompson Central Park and Burger Joint policies, including attendance and conduct
- Provide accurate information to guests regarding product knowledge
- Comply with safety standards
- Complete quality control checklist to ensure food safety practices
- Carry out responsibilities in a timely and correct fashion
- Answer telephone professionally and courteously in a timely manner
- Follow proper breakdown procedure: refill ketchups, napkins, and to-go utensils, clean beer and soda stations, clean register and workstation.
Cashing Tasks
- Ring up the checks and post all checks in Micro’s accurately
- Process cash, credit card, and room charge payments accurately
- Follow all check and cash handling procedures
- Balance cash receipts at the end of shift
- Accurately handle cash transactions in preparation for nightly blind drop
- Complete deposit slips and deposit revenue in safe box
- Maintain accurate bank
Qualifications
Essential
- At least one year of working experience.
- Outgoing personality.
- Able to handle money.
- Fluent in English.
- Willing to accomplish all necessary tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to interact professionally with coworkers and guests in a team environment.
- Able to perform basic math computations accurately and quickly.
Desirable
- High School Graduate.
- Experience in a fast-food restaurant a plus.
- Fluency in other language.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES ESSENTIAL:

- Work under minimal supervision.
- Communicate well verbally and in writing.
Other Physical Abilities
- Able to lift, push, pull and carry in excess of 30 pounds.

Salary range: $27.53 - $31.20 per hour
