Job Summary:  This is a very hands-on and mobile position. You will be primarily assisting with arriving and departing guests in a friendly, courteous manner, and you will be responsible for transporting guests’ luggage and making deliveries to/from guests’ rooms.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist guests with luggage during arrival and departure, make necessary deliveries and pickups from guests’ rooms, transport guests’ and hotel packages.
• Greet all guests entering the hotel, helping with luggage and tending to other guests’ needs.
• Deliver luggage rooms upon check-in and retrieve luggage from rooms upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the valet station.
• Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of high-end hotel experience preferred.
• Must have experience in dealing directly with the public and acquired general knowledge of basic customer service skills.
• Requires knowledge of company/hotel policies and procedures and the ability to determine course of action based on these guidelines.
• Ability to communicate information and hotel services to management and guests.
• Must have flexible availability to work any shift, including days, evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays. 

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks.
• Requires grasping, standing, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.
