What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender - Hen Quarter Prime position at Thompson Hospitality?
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of craft cocktails, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to recipes.
- Engage with guests at the bar, providing recommendations, answering questions, and creating a welcoming environment.
- Maintain an organized and clean bar area, restocking supplies, garnishes, and utensils as needed.
- Collaborate with the barback, kitchen, and waitstaff teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- A minimum of 6 months experience.
- Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must be of legal age to prepare, serve, and ring alcoholic beverages.
- Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and some holidays.
- Certified in (or able to be certified in) responsible alcohol service (as required by state or local law).
- Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location (verbal and written).
- Stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Lift up to 30 lbs (kegs, boxes, bottles)
- Use hands to handle tools, glassware, and garnishes.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive wrist/arm motions.
- Clear vision for reading orders and handling cash.
