ro, newly opening in Hyde Park Village, is Three Oaks Hospitality’s latest concept featuring a modern Asian menu and dining experience that heightens all the senses. ro blends traditional Japanese techniques with innovative twists using the freshest and finest, high-quality key ingredients imported from that specific region in Japan, making the dining experience for guests as authentic as possible without having to travel across the world for it.
ro is searching for hardworking and dedicated server assistants to aid our servers and ensure that tables are cleared, cleaned, and properly set for patrons. The server assistant’s responsibilities include preparing and refilling beverages, assisting servers with processing payments, removing trash, and sanitizing restaurant menus. You should also be able to perform end-of-day clean-up duties.
To be successful as a server assistant, you should be well-organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, an outstanding server assistant should demonstrate effective communication skills and always achieve excellent guest service.

Requirements & Responsibilities
- High school diploma or GED.
- A food handler's license.
- Proven experience working in the restaurant industry.
- Sound knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
- Deliver genuine hospitality to and establish emotional connections with our guests.
- Contribute to the overall teamwork and success of the restaurant.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards.
- Ensure interior and exterior cleanliness of restaurant.
- Set and reset tables perfectly for guests a timely manner.
- Sweep floors throughout entire restaurant.
- Carry dirty dishes, glassware and silverware to the dish area for cleaning.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and alert a manager immediately.
- Communicate with managers and hosts regarding table availability and key table updates.
- Maintain high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Always demonstrate professional and gracious demeanor.
- Perform all opening, running and closing duties accurately.
- Perform any job function requested by the management team.
Physical Requirements
This position is expected to be able to perform the job functions with reasonable accommodations.
- Remain standing for extended periods of time.
- Bending, squatting and lifting up to 20 lbs. for short distances.
- Ability to work with varying noise levels.
- Frequent communications with managers, team members and guests. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
