Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support project and financial governance for a fast-paced, enterprise-level environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in project financial management, budgeting, and forecasting, and thrive in a collaborative team setting that spans across technical and operational functions.

You will play a key role in supporting leadership and project teams with accurate financial reporting, insights, and governance practices to ensure efficiency, compliance, and strategic decision-making across multiple initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Own and maintain project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with Technical Product Managers (TPMs) and Project Managers (PMs) to develop, monitor, and refine project budgets.
• Reporting & Insights: Prepare regular financial reports for leadership, highlighting variances, trends, and actionable insights.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to project teams, offering financial guidance and fostering transparent communication.
• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to streamline financial operations and improve data integrity.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to project governance standards, methodologies, and documentation practices.
• Resource Management: Support project teams in resource planning and utilization tracking.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality reviews and audits to ensure alignment with project and financial standards.
• PMO Support: Assist the PMO with tools, templates, and administrative tasks to support project delivery.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing optimization of financial and project management processes.
• Audit Readiness: Ensure compliance with policies and support audit activities through well-maintained documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Proven experience in project financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with financial management tools and Excel; knowledge of project management tools a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work across functional areas.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
