Actively seeking a Mental Health Therapist to assist with the continuing implementation of a Residential Treatment Facility for young adults in Berks County. The program provides a comprehensive, collaborative, continuum-of-care service model that addresses the needs of the population from a person-centered perspective and is strength based, recovery-oriented and focused on positive practices.
The Mental Health Therapist position requires a minimum of a master's degree in related field such as psychology, counseling, social work, etc. Two years of experience working with individual with mental health disabilities. Active State Licensure is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities include assist with intakes and assignments, assist with individuals' orientation to the program, work cooperatively with individuals to identify and make progress towards treatment goals and coping skills, provide assistance with teaching skills, assist individuals with building competency in areas that are needed to live independently, attend and provide support to offsite appointments and events, participate in treatment planning meetings, provide education and guidance to MH Workers and Aides regarding behavioral modifications to improve treatment outcomes, conduct psychoeducation and clinical groups, create crisis plans collaboratively with individuals, ensure safety and supervision of individuals and complete all required documentation in electronic health record system.

Requirements
- Minimum of a master's degree from an accredited college or university in a generally recognized clinical discipline such as, but not limited to, counseling, psychology, or social work, etc.
- Active State Licensure is preferred, but not required.
- Certification in DBT and Trauma Informed Care, preferred.
- Valid PA Driver's License
- Use of vehicle while working with valid registration and insurance coverage indicating you are an insured driver
- Pre-employment Drug Screen
- PA Criminal History Clearance
- PA Motor Vehicle Record Check
- FBI Clearance (if candidate has not been a resident of PA for the past two consecutive years)
