What are the responsibilities and job description for the Countertop Installer position at Thruway Stone Inc.?
Thruway Stone is currently seeking a Countertop Installer to complement our existing team and facilitate our continued growth. Join the expanding Thruway Stone team and get started with an established company that is always busy.
The essential duties for this position include but are not limited to:
- Prepare - Look ahead at our schedule and prepare for upcoming projects. This includes understanding material selections and layout.
- Install - Accurately install quartz and granite tops on site.
- Finalize all details - with decision makers, review expectations.
- Complete job - Make sure all notes and photos are communicated clearly using our Moaraware's Job Tracker.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of construction process.
- Excellent communication skills - Verbal, Visual, Written.
- Must be an excellent listener.
- Positive, Personable, and Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Organized and Punctual.
- Detail oriented with a thorough attention to producing quality work.
- Ability to handle heavy materials, lifting 75lbs.
- Must work well in a team.
- Must work well under deadlines.
- 1-2 year in experience in granite and quartz fabrication and installation is preferred but will train the right candidate.
Work Schedule:
- The daily work schedule of the Countertop Installer is variable, but is mostly between 7:00am and 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. There are occasions, however, when deadlines call for the entire team to work longer days up to 12 hours.
- Compensation for Counter Top installer is $17-$27/hr
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
