Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by regularly cleaning work areas, floors, and equipment.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and preparation under the guidance of kitchen staff.
• Help buss tables and remove used dishware from dining areas to ensure a tidy environment for guests.
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak service times.
• Remove trash and boxes to designated receptacles
• Maintain proper cleanliness and standards for restrooms and supply closets

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
• Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
