This position has the responsibility of ensuring that the window product fits correctly and works efficiently of customers. Must have high levels organizational skills and time management. Roles and Responsibilities: Measure and assemble the frame and glass to be installed in the boats. Operate necessary tools and equipment in boat production process or assist others operating tools and equipment. Utilize various power and hand tools to complete assigned tasks. Assemble weather stripping to the window and door areas. Assist productions workers by supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment. Compliance to safety policies and procedures is required, as well as identifying risks and hazards prior to job completion Required and Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Three months experience in a manufacturing setting preferred, but willing to train. Knowledge of drills, drivers, and saws. Ability in basic math, reading and be able to read a tape measure Ability to follow established safety process to handle equipment to install all components for boats. Good safety awareness, attitude, and attendance. Self-starter and a team player. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, see, sit, and use arms, hands, and fingers. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level is moderate to high in the manufacturing setting.
