Description
The Cash Retrieval Attendant will physically remove, securely transport, and count monies
from gaming devices. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company
standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “Winning Attitude”
company-wide culture and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
2. Remove, securely transport, and count monies from gaming devices with strict
adherence to rules and regulations.
3. Operate money counting equipment in a safe, efficient and cautious manner.
4. Keep count room clean.
5. Remove and replace bill validator boxes in slot machines according to the daily drop
schedule with strict adherence to rules and regulations.
6. Compare and balance manual counts to counting machine-automated counts, and
complete data entry into computer programs.
7. Be familiar with OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High volume cash-handling experience is preferred, including experience working with
currency counter equipment.
2. Ability to verbally communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and
Management.
3. Basic math skills.
4. Basic data entry skills.
5. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information.
6. Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
7. Must be at least 21 years of age.
8. Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Requirements:
1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to
distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
2. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. with or without assistance.
3. Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift.
4. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
5. Ability to crouch, kneel, push, turn, carry, and pull.
