Our company is a comprised of a collection of career and technical education schools geared towards providing adult students with career focused education and the hands-on skills needed to succeed in today’s demanding job market.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Admissions to lead a growing admissions team at one of our campuses.
Directors of Admissions are responsible for leading and managing their campus admissions team and ensuring that the admissions team is providing the best quality customer service and an outstanding enrollment experience for prospective students.
Responsibilities Overview:
- Manage a team of admissions representatives and promote a positive team environment.
- Develop community relationships with business and civic organizations.
- Hire and train school admissions officers.
- Institute and maintain High School and Veteran Programs.
- Interview prospective admissions representatives for employment.
- Oversee the student enrollment process for the Admissions team.
- Become an integral part of the executive management team.
Qualifications Overview:
- MUST have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in Higher Education Admissions, preferably in private, for-profit, post-secondary education.
- Prefer prior experience as a Director of Admissions.
- Prefer management, sales, and admissions training experience.
- Successful completion of post-secondary education accepted, BA degree preferred.
- Computer literacy including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
