Our financial services client is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Fixed Income Product Manager to join our Capital Markets division. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the development, management, and enhancement of fixed income products and strategies. The ideal candidate will collaborate across trading desks, sales, technology, operations, compliance, and marketing to deliver competitive and compliant fixed income solutions to institutional and retail clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Development
- Drive the strategic roadmap for fixed income product offerings including municipals, corporates, agencies, treasuries, CDs, and structured products.
- Monitor market trends and client demand to identify new product opportunities or enhancements to existing offerings
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with trading, sales, legal, compliance, and technology teams to ensure effective product delivery and regulatory alignment.
- Serve as a key liaison between business units and support functions to streamline processes and ensure product integrity.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze product performance, usage trends, and profitability to identify areas for optimization.
- Provide product-level insights and reporting to internal stakeholders and management.
Risk & Regulatory Oversight
- Maintain product documentation, disclosures, and ensure adherence to FINRA, SEC, and internal compliance standards.
- Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams on regulatory filings, audits, and policy updates.
Sales Enablement & Training
- Develop product materials, client presentations, and internal resources to support the salesforce.
- Conduct training sessions and webinars to educate financial advisors and institutional sales teams on product features and market positioning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
- 7 years of experience in fixed income product management, trading, research, or strategy.
- Deep understanding of fixed income instruments, markets, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment. Series 7 and 63 (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).
