What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician position at Tigertek Industrial Service, LLC?
- High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
- Valid Driver License (Pass Background/Driving Check).
- Solid work ethic.
- Strong electrical, electronic and mechanical skills.
- Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools.
- Reading electrical schematics.
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs.
- Good analytical and problem‐solving skills.
- Troubleshooting mechanical failures.
- Fluently interpret electrical/mechanical diagrams & schematics.
- Ability to organize & schedule.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to learn, adapt to change and work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of low voltage controls (VFD/HMI).
- Setup, install and repair production, building equipment and specialty machines.
- Check, maintain, repair and replace automation lines, high pressure steam, air/gas lines, electrical/electronic controls, piping and tubing.
- Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls.
- Diagnose problems, determine extent of repairs and estimate labor time.
- Disassemble machinery/equipment, repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components.
- Inspect equipment for proper lubrication and perform preventative maintenance
All field work is typically performed within normal business hours and based from our Stoneville, NC facility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
