Summary
The People Talent Generalist is responsible for performing a wide range of HR-related duties in support of the organization's strategic and operational goals. Working under the guidance of the People Talent Supervisor and within the Chief of Operational Excellence division, this role supports recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and talent development to help drive a high-performing, people-first culture
Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Support full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screenings, interviews and offers. Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation processes. Maintains candidates and onboarding documentation in compliance with policies.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns. Provide support for conflict resolution, employee counseling, and workplace investigations. Help enforce policies and promote a respectful, inclusive workplace culture.
- HR Operations & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records with OneDrive system. Ensure compliance with local, state and federal labor laws (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, EEO). Support audits, internal reviews, and the implementation of policy updates.
- Performance Management: Track performance evaluations, probationary periods, and employee milestones. Assist in coaching Section Leads on performance documentation and employee development plans. Contribute to continuous improvement of performance review cycles.
- Benefits & Payroll Support: Assist employees with benefit enrollment, eligibility, and troubleshooting. Coordinate with payroll and timekeeping teams for data accuracy. Provide support for open enrollment and benefits communications.
- Training & Development: Supporting training coordination, tracking, and logistics for internal learning sessions. Assist with onboarding training and documentation of compliance- base learning.
- Culture & Engagement: Participate in company culture-building and engagement activities. Support initiatives driven by the People Talent team that promote recognition, wellness and DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field..
- 2 years of HR generalist experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of labor laws and human resources best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, Paycom).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Bilingual (English – Spanish).
- Team-oriented attitude.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
