What are the responsibilities and job description for the Millwright position at Tilden Mining Company?
Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for Millwrights at our Tilden Mine operation located in Ishpeming, Michigan.
Pay Rate: $37.211/hr - $38.760/hr
This position falls under a collective bargaining agreement and wages are not negotiable.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain plant machinery
Inspect, troubleshoot, dismantle, assemble, replace defective parts, and adjust plant machinery
Use torch to cut and heat
Perform welding and air arc cutting
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-year degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field or at least 2 years of directly related full-time work experience is required
Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals
Work safely and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Must be willing to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays
Must be willing to work overtime
