Job Summary
The function of the Sr. Manager, Development Execution is to manage the pipeline for restaurant openings, renovations, and closures. Key responsibilities include managing the evaluation and approval of new restaurant sites and evaluating site submissions from restaurant owners, prior to formulating a recommendation to the Tim Hortons leadership team. Furthermore, the role is responsible for leading our closure mitigation efforts to support our broader growth goals. With restaurant image moving into the foreground, this role will be responsible for managing the renovation pipeline across the US, and working cross functionally with franchisees, design and construction to ensure timely remodel completions. This role is a key contributor to new opening growth for Tim Hortons.
RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week.

Essential Responsibilities
Responsible for site location analysis and recommendation to the Tim Hortons leadership Manages the new development, closures and renovation pipeline Manages the team responsible for the administrative process behind restaurant site approvals, openings, and remodels including:
- Site approval package creation
- Project setup in Lucernex and PM software
- Administration of remodel documentation and restaurant relief
- Lead closure mitigation strategy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organization skills, with strong ability to multi-task and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
- Ability to interface and maintain excellent professional relationships with a variety of audiences to include franchise partners, internal construction/design/real estate function, internal and outside legal counsel and various other departments within the brand
- Proven experience interacting with Franchisees or external stakeholders
- Knowledge of database development and management
- Ability to anticipate and solve complex problems or resolve issues
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- Extensive franchisee/customer facing experience required
- 5 years’ experience in franchise/development, implementation and management of administrative processes and support systems
