Position Summary
The Customer Concierge is responsible for greeting, engaging and communicating with all customers, and for setting and maintaining a high energy and positive atmosphere. This person is responsible for providing superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy and respect toward external customers as well as internal co-workers. This position is responsible for providing quality customer service in processing customer transactions. Quality customer service includes accurate, efficient, courteous, and friendly transaction processing. Adequate product knowledge is necessary to refer sales leads and to problem solve on an on-going basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Always provide quality customer service
- Primarily responsible for answering telephone calls with exceptional telephone etiquette.
- Greet customers promptly and courteously.
- Efficiently process customers' requests in a timely and accurate manner. Requests may consist of balance inquiries, password resets, check orders, ordering debit cards, revising debit card limits, making customer coffee, complete TMS transactions, etc.
- Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume.
- Open New Accounts and assist customers with queries concerning bank services
- Process all incoming, outgoing and return mail.
- Set-up and maintain the cleanliness of the coffee bar.
- Serve as the 1st floor kitchen monitor.
- Follow established audit, security and compliance guidelines.
- Guide existing and prospective customers on live tours of our Timberline Bank Headquarters
- Attends and participates in meetings as required.
- Represents Timberline Bank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive "can-do" attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs.
- Perform various other duties as required by management.
- Duties to be expanded on as experience and professional goals are achieved.
- Interact with other teams to collaborate and problem-solve
- Engage professionally in person, emails and on the phone to assist with every customer need or issue
- Work independently and in a team environment to maximize productivity in a most efficient manner

Required Knowledge and Expertise
- High school graduate or equivalent.
