Activities Assistant:
Partime/Fulltime/ EOW
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have a passion to work with the Residents to enhance their quality of life.
- Must be a Team Player!
- Assists in carrying out a program of activities which provides entertainment, intercommunication, exercise, and relaxation to all residents.
- Assists residents with outside activities and hobbies.
- Assists residents with arts and crafts activities.
- Assists residents with group activities.
- Prints and distributes monthly activities calendar.
- Completes Activities Participation Records.
- Complete initial Activity Assessments and Quarterly Progress Notes.
- Every other weekend - flexible hours
Position Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to supervise group recreational activities.
- Prior experience in a nursing home preferred.
