Qualifications
The Academic Support Services candidate will have the qualifications to provide a range of administrative and management services in support of various Legal Education courses, various legal short courses, and Professional Military Education (PME) courses offered at The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School (TJAGLCS) in cooperation with Government staff and faculty and other contractor employees – assisting in the development and planning of course curriculum; building, scheduling, and maintaining course registration and rosters; arranging and supporting transportation and lodging for students; developing, fielding, retrieving, and course feedback and reports and various kindred duties in support of legal education programs.
The Academic Support Services candidate shall be able to brief/instruct their functional area to large groups. Shall have as a minimum five (5) years’ experience in functional area and customer conflict resolution. Shall have and maintain knowledge of current (within the last three years) policy and changes within policy as it pertains to their functional area.
The Academic Support Services candidate should learn the functions, policies, and receive the required training enabling them to serve as a backup for all the Specific Tasks listed below to ensure seamless performance for these tasks.
Responsibilities
The Academic Support Services candidate will be responsible for providing a range of administrative and management services to include the below.
Collect, consolidate, and track new and emerging lesson plans and products for presentation to the appropriate Stakeholder: the Dean, Associate Deans, Noncommissioned Officers Academy Commandant, etc., for briefing and approval prior to implementation.
Develop, build, and refine curriculum products such as outlines, lesson plans, training support packages, etc., for review by the appropriate stakeholder as above and approval by the correct command authority, e.g., Dean, TJAGLCS, TRADOC, etc.
Following approval of curriculum products, ensure they are input, registered, published, and otherwise made available (e.g., TDC input, submission to Dean) for administrative processing and preparation for instructional delivery.

Minimal travel required.
