As a Regulatory Auditor, you will be responsible for the following:
- Conduct regulatory audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, efficiency of operations, and compliance with governmental regulation and NCUA guidelines.
- Provide input during the annual risk assessment and audit planning processes.
- Perform planning and risk assessment activities, develop audit scope, criteria, and objectives, prepare appropriate audit work paper documentation, including making recommendations for improvement and correction where identified.
Salary Range:
The starting salary range is $82,050-$101,742; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Education/Experience Requirements:
You must have:
- A bachelor’s degree from a four year university or college required and a minimum of three years’ experience of Regulatory Audit or related Compliance/Risk experience with financial institutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge, or the ability to become knowledgeable in applicable governmental banking laws and regulations, and NCUA requirements.
Keys to Success:
In order to be successful as a Regulatory Auditor, you must possess these qualifications:
- NCUA Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) or Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) certification preferred.
- Must be independent, self-motivated and possess a positive attitude, operating well in a team environment that is focused on collaboration and accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required.
