What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Sterilization Technician position at Tiny Tooth Pediatric Dentistry?
Our organization is seeking a Sterilization Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the dental field and be able to maintain a sterile environment for our patients, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The Sterilization Technician will be responsible for cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed, and providing support to the clinical staff. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a 5 day per week position. We are a multi-location practice with offices in Columbia and Eldersburg and this position would rotate between two locations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a sterile environment.
- Ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Maintain records of sterilization processes.
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms and equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance on sterilization equipment.
